DESCRIPTION:Mission Statement: \nTo promote and support wellness programs and initiatives by creating healthy habits and lifestyle modifications for the members of the Maryland Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. \nPurpose: \nTo foster a culture of physical\, psychological\, and emotional well-being for our MDHCC members by promoting activities that encourage a healthier and active lifestyle. \n  \nGoals: \n• Promote an understanding of the factors which contribute to physical and mental well-being. \n• Motivate and educate members to take charge of their own health. \n• Offer programs to inspire healthier lifestyles through exercise\, holistic nutrition\, and prevention. \n• Build a sense of community and spread awareness through a Monthly Health Series Webinars and In Person events. \n  \nFunction: \n\nTo promote wellness communication through a variety of internet tools\, health webinars\, and (in person) health challenges.\nTo provide initiatives that support a healthy lifestyle\, including work-life balance\, chronic disease & stress management\, exercise\, emotional stability\, and holistic nutrition.\nTo provide resources for members to build a supportive Chamber network to bolster health goals.\nTo encourage member suggestions and feedback on future wellness programs and activities.\n\n  \nCost:  Free
