BAM Wellness on Zoom

Mission Statement:

To promote and support wellness programs and initiatives by creating healthy habits and lifestyle modifications for the members of the Maryland Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

Purpose:

To foster a culture of physical, psychological, and emotional well-being for our MDHCC members by promoting activities that encourage a healthier and active lifestyle.

Goals:

• Promote an understanding of the factors which contribute to physical and mental well-being.

• Motivate and educate members to take charge of their own health.

• Offer programs to inspire healthier lifestyles through exercise, holistic nutrition, and prevention.

• Build a sense of community and spread awareness through a Monthly Health Series Webinars and In Person events.

Function:

To promote wellness communication through a variety of internet tools, health webinars, and (in person) health challenges.

To provide initiatives that support a healthy lifestyle, including work-life balance, chronic disease & stress management, exercise, emotional stability, and holistic nutrition.

To provide resources for members to build a supportive Chamber network to bolster health goals.

To encourage member suggestions and feedback on future wellness programs and activities.

BAM! is a monthly meeting of Hispanic/Latino business owners and executives charged with making critical decisions for the survival and growth of the companies they own and/or represent. Since BAM! is a business coaching program designed to solve any and all aspects of business challenges, we expect participants to participate the entire year so they can identity challenges, find solutions, implement them, and experience the expected growth as a result of their participation in BAM!
