| Mission Statement:
To promote and support wellness programs and initiatives by creating healthy habits and lifestyle modifications for the members of the Maryland Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Purpose: To foster a culture of physical, psychological, and emotional well-being for our MDHCC members by promoting activities that encourage a healthier and active lifestyle. Goals: • Promote an understanding of the factors which contribute to physical and mental well-being. • Motivate and educate members to take charge of their own health. • Offer programs to inspire healthier lifestyles through exercise, holistic nutrition, and prevention. • Build a sense of community and spread awareness through a Monthly Health Series Webinars and In Person events. Function: To promote wellness communication through a variety of internet tools, health webinars, and (in person) health challenges. To provide initiatives that support a healthy lifestyle, including work-life balance, chronic disease & stress management, exercise, emotional stability, and holistic nutrition. To provide resources for members to build a supportive Chamber network to bolster health goals. To encourage member suggestions and feedback on future wellness programs and activities. Cost: Free

Our Get Down to Business Events are designed to increase the visibility of Whiting-Turner’s project portfolio and connect with the local, diverse and small business community.
